Ink Blot Shop Aug 2022 Release

 Hello friends!

It's an exciting day! It's release day for Ink Blot Shop! YAY!!!! I can't express the excitement that I have for this release. There are so many unique products, and I wanted to share a few inspirational projects I created. If you haven't had a chance to check out the release, you can do so here: Ink Blot Shop Aug 2022 Release.

Products Used:

This first card was created using the excellent Crafty Hearts stamp set. I really love this set because there are so many different options of hearts to use for any crafty person in your life. I selected the crafty heart with pencils and paired it with a sentiment from the Teacher greetings set. This is the perfect way to create a teacher card.

This is another crafty card, and I just love how there are so many craft-related stamps in the shop. I paired a few older stamp sets with the new Art's & Crafts Borders.

This card was so special to make. I used Aiden's Art stamp set and paired it with Teacher Greetings set. Aiden's Art was created by Heather Ruwe's son, who has autism. This set is adorable, and I couldn't get enough of it. And the significant part about this set is that Tifany with Ink Blot Shop will donate 5 dollars per stamp set sold to the Autism Society. She has such a kind heart, and I couldn't be more thrilled to have this chance to work with her.

This card was really easy to make. I stamped the Party Borders stamp onto white cardstock and colored the images with Copic markers. I later went in with distress oxide inks and blended the edges of the card panel. I added a few ink splatters and glossy accents to finish off the card.

And that's it! I hope you found some inspiration, and don't forget to follow me on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE for complete cardmaking tutorials from this release.

Until next time!

Have a wonderful day,
Theary =)

Picket Fence Studios Aug 2022 Release Card Inspirations!

 Hello friends!

Today is such an exciting day! Yay! I am so excited to share some sneak peeks of cards that I created with Picket Fence Studios August 2022 release.

With the holiday season approaching, this release is CRAZY GOOD! I fell in love with every product and couldn’t stop the inspiration from flowing.

If you haven’t checked out the release, you can do so here.  Picket Fence Studios August Release.

I am sharing a shaker card I created using the adorable, A Polar Bear Christmas stamp set for my first card. I love making shaker cards, and the sequin mix in this release is to die for! I had to use it in a shaker, and I thought pairing it up with these cute critters was perfect.

Products used:

A Polar Bear Christmas

A Polar Bear Christmas Coordinating Die

A2 Scene Building Rectangle Two

Gingerbread House and Traditional Christmas Candy Mix

Copic Markers

White Gel Pen

Life Changing Blender Brushes

Distress Oxide Inks

Acetate Sheets

I am sharing a one-layered card using the same stamp set as the shaker card for my second card. I couldn’t get enough of the polar bears and wanted to continue to use the set. I guess that’s a good thing, right? So many great ideas out of one stamp set. I think that’s the best way to get your money’s worth.

Products used:

A Polar Bear Christmas

Masking Paper

Copic Markers

Life Changing Blender Brushes

Distress Oxide Inks

5x7 Double Stitched Rectangle Dies

For my third card, I am sharing a way to spin your Christmas stamps and use them for a Halloween card. I know it might sound crazy, but hear me out. The gingerbread house is just perfect for a haunted house scene. I mixed it up with a bunch of other products from the shop, and I think it turned out pretty awesome. What do you think?

Products used:

Build Me a Gingerbread House

Here For The Boo Sentiments

Slim Line Welcome to the Graveyard Blending Stencil

A2 Cauldron of Bats Stencil

Paper Velvet

Scaredy Cat Sequin Mix

Copic Markers

Masking Paper

Distress Oxide Inks

5x7 Double Stitched Rectangle Dies

My fourth card was pretty fun to make! It has lots of dimensions and interests. I created this card using The Ghastly Ghost dies and an older stencil from the shop. This product isn’t a Halloween stencil, but I wanted to show you guys how you can use what you have to create dept and dimension. The background uses paper glitz in the same tone as the color cardstock. I have been enjoying the tone-on-tone look these days.

Products used:

Three Ghastly Friends

Shadow of Leaves Stencil

Paper Glitz - Black Rainbow

Mixed Media Spatulas

Life Changing Blender Brushes

Foam Squares

And, Finally, the fifth project to share for today is not a card but a gift tag. I have little ones at home, so most of the time, Halloween is celebrated very innocently. We keep everything pretty cutesy and nothing too scary in decor for them and often forget about the adults, haha. So, the gift tags here were created to wrap onto alcohol bottles. But, you can pretty much use it to tag onto pretty much anything—for example, giant candy bars, gift bags, gift baskets, a cute little pumpkin.

Products used:

Cat Plays Fiddle to the Silver Moon

Cat Plays Fiddle to the Silver Moon Coordinating Die

Pattern Paper

Okay! I hope you guys got a good look at the lovely designs and caught the inspiration bug! Again, you can check out the release here: Picket Fence Studios August Release.

And, don’t forget about the GIVEAWAY! You can find more information about it here at Picket Fence Studios Instagram Hop

Please don’t forget to follow me on INSTAGRAM and YOUTUBE for tutorials on the projects. I will be sharing full tutorials this entire month.

Until next time! Have a fantastic day!

Let's Get Together Soon Card Featuring InkBlot Shop

Hello there! I hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. My name is Theary, and I am excited to be on the blog again today.

Today's card is fairly simple to create. I masked off two sections of white cardstock with a low-tack tape. I then went in and ink blended the background scene using my blending brush and inks in the shade of red and yellow. Then, going in with the Pixel Grid with Pixel Grid Masks Stencil, I used a glitter paste from Therm O Web and applied that over the stencil.

While I let the background dry, I stamped and colored in the Skyline Borders stamp set and the speech bubbles from the Tiny Bubbles stamp set. I then fussy cut the images out using a small scissor.

Before adhering all the pieces together, I stamped on a sentiment from the Missing You stamp set. Going in with liquid adhesive and foam squares, I popped everything onto the card panel. And that's it!

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Love,
Theary
