My Favorite Things Wave Die-namics

 Hello there!

Today, I wanted to share two cards that I created using the new MFT stamps wave die-namics.

For the first card, I used the die to cut out four various tones of pink card stocks. Then, I cut white cardstock to 4.25 x 5.5 to use as a card panel, creating a foundation for the die cuts. Staring from the darkest die cut, I used liquid adhesive to glue it on the bottom of the white card panel. Leaving a little space between each layer,  I continue to glue the remaining pieces until I reached the top of the white cardstock.

At this point, I decided that I wanted to add a little more dimension to my card. So, I trimmed the card panel off a bit from both sides and adhere foam tape to the back of the card panel. From here, I placed the trimmed card panel onto a top folded card base measuring 4.25 x 5.5.

For the sentiment, I stamped “You’re on my mind,” using clear ink and heat embossed using a gold embossing powder. I also added a few pearl embellishments to the card to give it more interest. Now that completes the first card.

For the second card, I started the same process as the first card. However, I didn't need to die-cut more pieces; I just used leftovers from the first card.

Instead of leaving spaces between the layers, I adhered the layers slightly on top of one another. I also, alternated colors which gave the card a level of depth. And like the first card, I trimmed both sides and added foam tape to the card panel's back.

Before adhering the card panel to the card base, I sprayed a layer of shimmer spray onto the card panel. Once it dried, I adhered it to a top folding card base. (Same measurements as the first)

I then stamped a “Thinking of you” sentiment onto white card stock with clear ink and heat embossed it using gold embossing powder. Add on the pearl embellishments, and the card is now complete.

Thank you for stopping by!
