Layering Festive Santa featuring Memory Box

Hello! I can't believe it's almost September. Although I will miss the summer months, I am super excited about the upcoming fall and winter seasons. 

I am sharing a Christmas-inspired card using fantastic products from The Yuletide Collection.

The Layered Festive Santa 94823 has so many details. I used the die and ran that through my die-cutting machine on red and white cardstock. To add extra details to each layer, I used markers, ink pads, a blending brush, and a white gel pen to build dimension with shading and highlights. I also added the adorable Pretty Presents 94761 into Santa's bag. 

I created the background using Narrow Woodgrain Planks 94823 and die-cut from a few pattern papers from Yuletide Plaid PP1031. I added adhesive to the back and adhered it to scratch paper that I trimmed to 5.25 inches by 4 inches.

I adhered the pattern-planked background to a kraft-colored cardstock and popped on sweet Santa on top with a sentiment from Memory Box holiday foil tabs. And finally, I adhered it to a top folding card base.
